Meaningful Mondays

 

When almost every girl is waiting for Tuesday love letters, I received this in my email on my dreadful Monday. Thank you, Sis Na'ima B. Why did I not found you earlier? 💕

Asalaamu alaikum, Husnina Raihanah,

 

Listen, sis.

 

You are worthy of the role that Allah (swt) has assigned to you: as a leader, as a supporter, as a defender, as a cheerleader. Allah (swt) knows you intimately - strengths, weaknesses - the whole package. 

And He has placed you on this earth to fulfil certain roles - you know what they are.

 

Trust that He knows what He is doing. 

 

You are here, in this time and in this place, for a reason. There is something your people need that only you can give. Acknowledge that. Accept that. Allow it to seep into your subconscious. Allow it to fill you with a sense of honour and purpose. Allah (swt) has entrusted you with this flock. 

 

And, as long as you show up, authentically and sincerely, He will help you. You aren’t expected to do it all on your own: you put in the work, He brings the results. Simple and oh so reassuring.

 

You are good enough for His blessings; acknowledge and appreciate the gifts and He will bless you with even more.
